1440 EZ is the first direct computer-to-metal plate system. It can printimages on metal plates up to 16"x27"x40" per minute with 1200 dpiresolution. 1440 EZ offers substantial time and consumables cost savingsover traditional prepress systems. Like all Printware systems, 1440 EZaccepts PostScript or Autologic ICL language input from any PC, Mac, UNIXsystem, or mainframe. Serial, parallel, and AppleTalk ports comestandard. It also provides automatic plate feeding.
